The Mother and Baby Club.

The Mother and Baby Club.

Congratulations you have had your beautiful baby! Now what's next?
Well, it’s time to find your club!
Becoming a new Mother is such an exciting journey. There’s so much to learn about your baby and your new role. Surround yourself with people that boost your confidence and offer you support. You are not alone in your discovery of your new identity, there are other new Mothers experiencing exactly the same. The changes, the ups and downs, the hazy days and unpredictable nights; it’s a time of major adjustment. Magical moments of bliss where you think you have completely nailed the parenting malarkey to feelings of being completely overwhelmed literally within the same hour. Your body is physically recovering from labour and the routine that you had previously is now completely changed. EMBRACE the change and find others that are on the same rollercoaster as you. Connect with the local women around you, share the challenges and laugh about the crazy Mummy moments.
The Babies in Waiting, Mother and Baby club is open to all new Mothers and babies (newborn to 6 months). We are passionate about supporting women during the extremely special postnatal time. It is so vital that a new Mother feels connected to the community around her and that she has a safe space to discuss her thoughts and feelings. We teach relaxation, bonding techniques, soothing strokes and much, much more.
The first club is launching in Billericay on the 1st November, 10 am – 11 am and will run for four consecutive weeks. This costs £50 and includes your resources including confidence boosting audio, refreshments and ongoing support. The Mother and Baby Club is held at Willow Cottage, just behind the High Street in Billericay in a cosy home from home environment with plenty of parking. You will be served a lovely hot drink and home made nutritious snack. Baby is the boss and so feeding, changing and soothing takes priority. Relax, unwind and learn some fabulous techniques to support both you and baby.
